basically, basic was built on one simple idea: you always come back to the basics. not a wardrobe of many, but a wardrobe of the right ones. pieces chosen with care, worn on repeat, built to form the foundation of how you dress every day.

we make fewer pieces, on purpose. the right piece will always mean more than many. every piece is considered in how it fits, how it moves, and how long it stays. no trends. no occasions. just the pieces you reach for, made well enough to live in.

fabric is selected for how it performs on a real body. refined enough to feel worth reaching for, sturdy enough to last, wash after wash.

every drop stays deliberately small, never made to chase volume.

the people who make our clothes matter as much as the people who wear them. our supply chain is entirely based in india, built on fair, respectful conditions. our packaging is fully recyclable.

shipping

we currently ship pan-india. delivery takes three to seven working days, depending on your address.

orders above ₹1,799 ship free. orders below that carry a delivery charge: ₹80 within maharashtra, ₹100 outside it.

need something faster? get in touch and we'll arrange express delivery.

exchange & returns

we don't currently offer refunds, but we do offer size exchanges.

if your order arrives in the wrong size or fit, let us know within three days of receiving it.

how it works:

  1. email info@basicallybasic.in with "exchange" and your order number in the subject line.
  2. our team reviews your request within 24 hours and confirms the exchange by email.
  3. courier charges for the exchange are covered by you. pickup details will be shared over email.
  4. once we receive the item, it goes through a quality check before your new piece is dispatched.
  5. the product must be unused, with tags intact, and packed in its original packaging.

damage & issues

received a damaged or incorrect item? write to us at info@basicallybasic.in with photos of the product. mention "damaged product" or "wrong product," along with your order number, in the subject line, within 24 hours of receiving it.

we'll arrange an exchange for a new piece. if a replacement isn't available, we'll process a refund instead. courier costs for damaged or incorrect items are covered by us.

please note

  • sale items are not eligible for exchange.
  • nipple pasties are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
  • for size exchanges, shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • basically, basic reserves the right to decline exchanges that don't meet these conditions.
